From August 4 to August 8, NBS Assistant Deans, Prof. Li Yuelin and Prof. Lin  Runhui, as well as Li Rong, Director of NBS Human Resources Office attended the  77th Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting for faculty recruiting. Being  interviewed were 17 doctoral and post-doctoral candidates from renowned  universities at the USA, Brazil, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, South  Korea, India, Chinese mainland, and Hong Kong, China.

The global hiring was  launched in March, 2017, when a faculty recruitment notice was released via the  platform set up by AOM meeting. By the end of July, a total of 22 effective  applications were accepted. And the candidates came from such first-class  universities as Purdue University (USA), University of Groningen (the  Netherlands), Grenoble Ecole de Management (France), KULeuven (Belgium),  University of New South Wales （Australia）, KAIST  College of Business (South Korea), Peking University (China) and Hong Kong  University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong, China), etc. Based on an  overall consideration of the candidates’ academic ability, critical thinking,  personality, and intention of returning the home country, our recruiting team  finally invited 10 of them to enter the phase of campus visit.

It has always been the  school’s key work to introduce excellent teachers from around the world. In  2017, 1 associate professor and 3 assistant professors have joined our faculty  team.
