On April 22 to 24, the Association to Advance  Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) Annual Conference for 2018  was held in Hawaii, Honolulu, USA. Bai Changhong, Dean of Nankai Business School  (NBS) and Cui Lianguang, Director of Center for International Accreditation and  Quality Promotion  attended this conference. The International Conference and  Annual Meeting (ICAM) is AACSB’s signature event for business education leaders,  educators from around the world. 

The theme of the conference is  “Connect, Discover, Lead”. In excess of 1200 delegates from more than 50  countries business schools aattended this annual meeting, sharing business  education innovations, and discussing the strategy of business development  challenges in the process of devising education countermeasures.

During the  visit, the delegation attended various theme forums and discussed with deans  of renowned business schools in Europe and America in terms of faculty  engagement and management , the trend and challenage of online business  programs. Afterwards, Pro. Bai head for world leading  supplier of information systems for business education and publishers to  understand the relevant situation. During the conference, Pro. Bai successively  shared experience on international accreditation and development of school with  deans of Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Sun  Yat-sen University.

Now, NBS is at  the crucial stage for Re-accreditation. In this opportunity, this visit will  contribute to exchanges and cooperation with famous business schools at home and  abroad and understanding the AACSB Accreditation Standards, while gaining  insight into the latest trends in management education and global  accreditation.
