On October 17, 1919, with the spring breeze of the May 4th Movement, Nankai University was officially established. Mr. Zhang Boling, the first president of Nankai University, put forward the school concept of Governing the country by culture, Strengthening the country by science, and Enriching the country by business, which blazed a trail in modern business education in China. Over the past hundred years, Nankai business scholars have always focused on the academic frontier and major social needs, and responded to vital-real problems with profound theories. It has one national key discipline, one national key research base, one national social science innovation base and one key research base of Humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of education, which has the front position across the whole country in management, entrepreneurship，corporate governance and other research fields.
In 1998, Nankai Business Review, the first management academic journal was sponsored by Business School of chinese universities, was founded. In 2007, the discipline of Business Administration ranked the third in China Discipline Ranking. Nankai Business School has earned AMBA Accreditation in 2013, Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA) in 2014 and AACSB Accreditation in 2016. In 2017, the discipline of Business Administration ranked A-level in the fourth round of China Discipline Ranking. In 2020，Nankai Business School’s discipline of Business Administration made into top 2% of China’s Best Subjects Ranking. In 2021, Nankai Business School earned AMBA Re-Accreditation.And In2022, Nankai Business School earned AACSB Re-Accreditation.

Vacancies
High End Talents: Nankai Chair Professor, Nankai Outstanding Professor and Nankai Talent Professor, which have recognized academic reputation and academic influence, and have achieved landmark teaching and scientific research achievements. Generally, they are no more than 55 years old.
Full Professor or Associate Professor: having obtained the doctor's degree and having formal teaching or scientific research positions in well-known universities, scientific research institutions or R & D institutions of famous enterprises at home and abroad, the professor is required to be under the age of 45 and the associate professor is required to be under the age of 35.
Assistant Professor: excellent doctor or outgoing postdoctoral at home and abroad, with strong innovation ability and outstanding development potential. The applicant is required to be under the age of 35.
Postdoctoral Fellow: Within three years of doctoral graduation, with higher academic level and development potential to become a full-time teacher in the school. The applicant is required to be under the age of 35.
