NKBS Delegates Attended 2019 AACSB Asia-Pacific ICAM & Training

        The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Annual Accreditation Conference: Asia Pacific was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 26-28 May, 2019.Cui Lianguang, Xing Jingang and Yang Jianliang, members of international certification team of NKBS, attended the conference and the training workshop titled “Continuous Improvement Review”.

      This meeting arranged rich contents, covering 3 themes and 6 parallel issues, and attracted more than 200 delegates from more than 60 business institutions of higher education in over 20 countries and regions. They discussed the influence of the 4th industrial revolution on education quality, best practices for accreditation report, benchmarking of accreditation standards and construction of education quality system, AOL data analysis and decision-making, and other accreditation-related hot issues. In the three-day conference, participants also gave speech and made group discussion in respect of “Action Learning”, “Curriculum System”, “iSER Report”, etc.

      CIR workshop on May 25 was presided over by Professor Kwok-Kee Wei from National University of Singapore and Professor Viput Ongsakul, Dean of Thailand NIDA Business School. During the training, these two professors with participants discussed the influence of 2013 accreditation standards on re-accreditation, emphasized the mission-driven throughout the accreditation process, and mainly probed into how to embody quality improvement and goal realization in re-accreditation.

      Since the first accreditation of AACSB in 2016, NKBS has been committed to building a mission-driven school governance and business study quality assurance system with diverse participation and interaction among international business education stakeholders, and has continuously strengthened innovation and influence in teaching, scientific research and social service.

      The AACSB Asia-Pacific ICAM aimed to provide a good communication platform for business schools to enhance their exchange and cooperation. In the conference, business school delegates met and communicated with AACSB accreditation staff for accreditation and evaluation matters, and shared ideas with business school counterparts from all over the world to promote innovation and development of business school education in the Asia-Pacific region.
