NKBS Delegation Visited Sister Schools in Austria and France

      At invitation of University of Graz Business School and NEOMA Business School, the delegation led by Bai Changhong, Dean of NKBS, visited two sister schools in Austria and France for dialogue and exchange on teaching and research cooperation from November 12 to 16

      Founded in 1585, University of Graz is a university with a long history and has cultivated 6 Nobel Prize winners. Its Business School has preponderant disciplines such as innovation and entrepreneurship, finance and marketing. Schumpeter, a renowned economist and the founder of innovation theory, once taught in this school and served as the Dean. During the visit, Dean Bai Changhong had a cordial talk with Dean Thomas, and they exchanged views on teacher-student exchange, cooperation and scientific research. Dean Bai Changhong introduced the development of NKBS in recent years, and hoped that this visit could deepen the mutual cooperation and make multi-mode cooperation in the fields of teacher-student exchange, innovation and entrepreneurship.

      From November 14 to 16, the delegation visited NEOMA Business School and the two sides discussed the e-commerce dual-degree program and joint research. Ms. Delphine Manceau, Dean of NEOMA Business School, extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and said that in spite of a short period of cooperation, we have achieved fruitful results in degree programs and joint research centers. Dean Bai Changhong also hoped to deepen understanding, broaden the cooperation field and accelerate the cooperation pace through this visit. The two sides also held the signing and unveiling ceremony of the Joint Research Center. Dean Bai Changhong delivered a speech on the development history of Chinese business education, business startup and entrepreneurship at the international exchange seminar themed “40 years anniversary of reform and opening up in China: global economic pattern”.

       In addition, the delegation also had cordial communication with the exchange students in these two schools, asked them about their life and study, and encouraged them to study hard, carry forward the spirit of Nankai, uphold the style of Nankai, and cherish this exchange opportunity.
