To further expand students’ international vision, enhance their ability of international cooperation and exchange, and strengthen their international competitiveness, NKBS launched the Funding Program for Students’ International Exchange. In 2018, a total of 18 students were funded, with a total amount of more than RMB100,000.

      This program is a special funding scheme set by NKBS with double first-class construction funds on the basis of existing funds to the overseas exchange program for outstanding undergraduate students, joint education project for masters (doctors), and international exchange for doctors. It is mainly used for funding students to attend vacation schools, seminar exchanges, international competitions and meetings; each student will be funded RMB5,000-12,000 based on the exchange regions and projects.

      NKBS always takes internationalization as one of its crucial development strategies, and continuously promotes and deepens the international exchange and cooperation. At present, it has established exchange and cooperation relationship with 40 universities and research institutions in more than 10 countries and regions, and constructed all-round, multi-level and multi-form joint education systems with internationally renowned universities in the United States and Britain. Each year, more than 100 Chinese students will get the international exchange opportunity and over 100 international students will come to Nankai University for study.
