Abstract：

It will be a thought-provoking session on the issue of disruptions and resilience. Although disruptions can come in different forms and sources, there are some contexts where they are magnified and become critical for systems’ value destruction. We will try to characterize the situations and bring examples from academic research and the industry on the cost of disruption and ways for dealing with the problem. You will learn how to recognize when a system is exposing to critical unexpected and system-wide disruptions, and few prevention measures to explore.
