简介：In this presentation, I will provide an overview of how financial markets can affect innovation activities at the firm level. The focus of earlier empirical studies was to examine how much innovating firms were financially constrained. However, there is growing evidence that the choice of financing, equity versus debt, can have a bearing on innovation outcomes. After reviewing these stylized facts, I will briefly discuss the economic theories that aim to explain these facts.  

本次演讲将会概述在企业层面上金融市场如何影响的创新活动。早期的实证研究聚焦于调查创新企业会在多大程度上受到资金的约束。然而，越来越多的证据表明，融资方式的选择（股权融资或债务融资）也可能对创新成果产生影响。在评述一些典型案例后，简要地解释这些案例背后的经济理论。
