    October 9, 2022, Professor Li Kai, Director of the Program and Professor of department of Engineering, Science and Management, gave a lecture on China's E-commerce: Current Situation and Challenges at Nankai University for the e-commerce students of the School of Business, which deeply suited the professional knowledge of the students, especially for the new students of the class of 2022, showing the overall picture of e-commerce development in China.



    Professor Li Kai introduced the process of China's e-commerce field developing rapidly to the world's top from three aspects: the current situation, new trends and challenges.

    Under the situation of trade globalization, China has become a beneficiary of international trade, and the increase in cross-border trade, including cross-border e-commerce, has also led to the continuous development of China's e-commerce. In the digital era, the e-commerce field is gradually maturing in China but still exploring. Among the opportunities and challenges, Professor Li Kai hopes that the students of e-commerce can become compound talents in the field of e-commerce in China and in the world, and find an accurate position in the e-commerce market and e-commerce era. 



    After the lecture,Chen Yu, a 2019 undergraduate student majoring in international accounting, was invited to bring a sharing of experience on overseas exchange and learning to the students of the Nankai- Neoma Program.



    Most of the students of the Program will go abroad for further study and even employment in the future, and Chen Yu brings a comprehensive sharing of language and mentality preparation before going abroad. Also shared the balance between learning and life, safety precautionstravel experience. In the Q&A session after the sharing meeting, Chen Yu patiently answered the questions of the students.
